Too many things to really talk about at once, but here's a basic update.
I've been busy working on multiple projects, thus not having time for actual updates here. They are:
Editing photos from a friend's recent wedding, plus I'll be making her a video as well because I recorded footage (all for free, because I love my friends).
Making a baby blanket for my best friend back downstate because she's expecting her first in January (finished that two days ago).
Making a Dr. Who scarf for another friend (had no clue what that was, so I had to Google it, resulting in mass confusion, and settled on making the shorter 11ft on from Season 12).
Working on more corsets (but I need a new chair for my sewing machine because our friend finally remembered that he left his folding chairs at our place *darn*).
Saving glass bottles in order to make bottle incense burners (I never did like beer all too much, but I found a few that I can tolerate well, and decided to keep the bottles for this purpose. At least I have friends who drink and were willing to give me bottles, too.).
Working on a Thousand Sons army for Warhammer 40k. This I actually used recently in a tournament (700pts for those who care), but I placed 10 our of 16.

They're more for looks, though, because once they are done and painted, they'll look pretty! ^^ It's giving me a reason to actually use that airbrush I received as a gift long long ago.
Sketching has slowed down quite a bit since I've been working and giving myself projects, so not too many pictures will be uploaded once they're scanned. Plus all of my recent photos were of the wedding, so I'll be asking the bride and groom before posting any of those. I'll probably post some of mine eventually just so that I can show off some basic sewing and designing skills.
Life things that have been going on include the purchase of two new cars (well, new to us). Both of the cars that we were riding in were so bad that when I brought mine to have the trunk latch welded back on (rusted off), the mechanic looked at me like I was nuts and after giving her a look, told me that she shouldn't have even passed inspection and that she is so rusted out I was riding in my grave, essentially. In short: He refused to touch her. If something would happen, he would've been the last to work on her and it would've been on his head. So I took up the search to find a cheap car that I could finance and have low monthly payments and a reliable car. At this same time, the Acura we had bought Jame back over the summer had sprung a leak in the exhaust and was also leaking oil into the engine, all of this after the rack and pinion had broken (a $900 repair that we opted to forgo and have it welded into place instead). What I found was a Ford Escort for $2000, that I was able to finance for $66 a month (with no harm if I paid it off early), and a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse (racing tricked out) for Jamie at $104/month, but that one has a 3-year parts and service warranty on it, which I got due to the after-market upgrades it had done to it. Overall, two cheap cars, two payments we can handle, and we're not driving in death-traps anymore. Plus, the Mitsubishi dealer that sold us the Eclipse gave us $2500 for the Acura (we couldn't trade in Bubbles at the other dealer because technically she's not ours, Jamie's dad has the title for that car). The Escort will be used for my work as well as friend transportation (even though everyone drooled over the Eclipse) because no matter how you work it, very few of our friends will fit into the back seat of the Eclipse without sitting with their knees up to their chin. I'm happy with my purchases, and I'm starting to feel old. First I got married, now I'm actually buying cars. They'll also make the drive to Cali if needed.
Speaking of Cali, while I currently have an application in a Blizzard for Cinematic Editor, I'll be hunting down in Pittsburgh a bit more actively. After that Warhammer 40k tourny, I realized that there actually WERE a lot of jobs down there, and one of the guys who was playing (my first opponent) was working at a studio that was currently wrapping up a film. So if I'm not offered that job at Blizz, I'll be going to Pitt in order to seek out work (voluntary if I have to) and start my career down there. If anything, when I'm in my summer lay-off from Lifetouch, I can go down to volunteer and toss my name and resume around.
Yay, updates. That was a long post...
...Unless I somehow have the wrong person, and know you somehow else...
